Someone posted this link on another forum. It is a fairly lengthy questionaaire allowing viewers to rate all of their programs and personell as well. It sounds like a sincere attempt to at least get information from theri viewers. There is more than one space for typing in comments. At the end they ask again "Is there anything else you would like to say to us?" I didn't say a lot and I wasn't mean about it but I was direct.

For all you Pro-3ABN (and even those indifferent ones), now is the time to let your opinions be heard!
www.3abn.org/survey/ This topic thread is open for discussion of what would be good when deciding in that survey for “program preferences” or “presenter preferences”. Let’s influence the outcome with our participation in the survey. Votes will increase some needful programs and eliminate those which just needn’t be. |

Stephen Bohr in Secrets Unsealed is just tremendous to watch. I learn a lot. I vote enthusiastically for Amazing Facts and Keepers of the Flame. Adventist Frontier Missions, Adventist SE Asia Projects and Adventures in Missions always capture my interest. Also Global Mission Frontline, Maranatha Mission Stories. Body and Spirit Aerobics is absolutely awful. The studio decor is really boring. Dick Duerkson, Shawn Boonstra, and D.Batchelor are trusted by me. If I knew the names of the bunch of others I respect listening to, I'd mention them, too. What I really dislike are the gals on the cooking programs. All are very unprofessional, immature and annoyingly below par for a public media presentation. That Cinda Scanner really needs to go. |

Just finished the survey for all the good it will do. I feel that even if you don't watch much or at all it would still be worth taking. There are areas where you can let them know what you think. On the first page they say that they are willing to take a hard look at themselves. (I am paraphrasing as I tried to get back in to quote and since I have already finished it wouldn't let me back in.) Anyway, I said my piece but don't expect much.

I had no idea they had so manys shows. Forgot Breath of Life was on there, also. Still dont' see anything beyond BOL and Curtis and Paul's show to make me even call my cable company to get 3ABN............definitely NOT catering to my demographic............
