3abn Appeal Options

I was directed to a post I made here by somebody in the SDA section of Christian Forums. It was used to substantiate that I want to see the demise of 3ABN.

I told them that I do not want to see the demise of 3ABN. Perhaps the demise of some of its leaders, but not the demise of 3ABN.

I don't believe that is the desire of any of us here.

That is my beleif too Daryl. We only want to see it cleaned up, so it can give God the glory, rather than DS. Some people however, who want to preserve the status quo at any cost, will use any kind of excuse, and twist words to mean what they don't. Can't help it is some people can't see what is as plain as the nose on thier face.

As for 3-phase power. I don't know what the situation is in the USA but in Australia, 3 phase power is availalbe in even many remote areas. Not that it has always been so, but I have lived in quite remote areas of Australia, and 3 phase power was availalbe there. No drama about that. We were questioned why we wanted it, because it is usually used in Industrial areas, but when my husband explained, there was no problem. Can't see why it would be such a 'miracle' if Danny got it on. Just my $0.02 worth!

This is a fine example of the Danny Shelton mentality or lack thereof. I am not a professional, and can not diagnose this quandary. I only have opinions, right or wrong. This is a serious identity crisis

To Danny, he IS 3ABN! Trying to get rid of him is equal to getting rid of 3ABN, in his thinking that is, IMO. Therefore, if you want him to go away, you must also want 3ABN to go away. His mind can't grasp the truth that he IS NOT 3ABN.

Danny does NOT equal 3ABN. 3ABN is a Corporation and not HUMAN in any sense of the word. Danny is said to be human. IMO, I question even that. There is NO HUMAN that can not be replaced. NONE! No one is indispensable. 3ABN can be run by different individuals, other than Danny, and still thrive. In fact, I believe God would send real miracles and many souls would be saved "Thru" Jesus Christ! JMO.

If as Danny himself has often stated God only used him to start 3ABN, that it is God's minisitry and it is through the blessing of God that 3ABN prospered and that it was sustained by miracles from God, the question comes to mind "If 3ABN belongs to God, is Danny being a good steward of that resouce lately?".

What if God asks for it back? What if it is not us asking for Danny to give it up but what if it is unmistakeably God making the claim?

Yes, YES!! That's something positive we can do to help HopeTV!

I note that a petition to add 3ABN to the Dish Network line-up is online, but I wonder how much good those online petitions do, because the signatures are pretty easy to forge. (Don't ask me how I know. ) It probably can't hurt to mount such a petition, but email and snail mail directly to the Dish Network would be much more effective, I'm sure.

The online petition for 3ABN is here: http://www.petitiononline.com/3abndish/petition.html Someone could draft a HopeTV petition and put it online at the same place. I wouldn't put my own email address in there, because such a site can easily be used to collect addresses for spamming.

Another idea for those not currently customers of the Dish Network would be to inquire whether you would be able to view HopeTV if you subscribed to their service, and give the URL to their web site. If they received a few thousand such inquiries, it will make an impression, I suspect.

I also noticed a past president of ASI has signed it.

I'm curious how they can even accept such an "online" petetion..someone could have easily made all the names, states, comments up.

It looks like they DID make up the names....no don't do it was a name after all the shelton names and then later names like AMAZING from the UK.

I guess not all of the names in that list can be made up, seeing as I recognized about 3% of the names as being people whom I know personally. Some of them surprised me.

Perhaps they could, but, for example, some of those friends had members of their family with different surnames sign up on the list as well, and their names did not all come on the same page. It seems to match the pattern of someone who has found the list and has emailed to others to get them to sign it too--and of course there is a lag, then, between those signings. Additionally, there were friends and classmates of mine from all across the country, in multiple states, and I would find that more than coincidental for each of them to be on the list together, when I can personally vouch for most of them not knowing each other, and likely not part of any group or association together.

Now...the diabolical thought would be...hmmmm.....if 3ABN just went through its contact list and....perish the thought! Do you suppose the list tracks the originating IP address of each signer? (Be sure your sins will find you out!) And IF 3ABN were asking all of its followers to sign the petition, where are the names of Finley, Batchelor, Cox, Phipps, Carter, Albrecht, ....or for that matter, Melody, Brandy, Teresa, Brenda, and a host of others? There are countless names which are ostensibly missing.
