Got this email from Flo Cunningham/3ABN today:
Check Dish Network and/or Sky Angel channel #9710 and let me know if you can now bring in 3ABN. Time for us to write all those letters about how much we miss Linda and Barbara Kerr's cooking progs.

I can't seem to find anything about 9710 on either DishNetwork or SkyAngel's websites. Maybe they are a little slow updating their websites.
Anyone confirm reception? |

Of course, someone at Dish Network could be mistaken, but here is what their online support is saying:

So I asked him how often his lists get updated: QUOTE(Dish Network) Well, whenever there is any change in programming we get the information immediately. Yes it is on. I was just watching it. It is on the station right after SAFE. They are beginning the "Spring Campmeeting". I just tuned in while the beg o thon was going on and Danny and Walt are going over the 3ABN board they are so proud of that has been with them for over 20 years. then we have apologies for being just sinners like moses and David but that God could use them in spite of themselves....if not then they would not be blessed and be gone. Satan was attacking them for he was angry because they were spreading the undiluted truth that "counterfiets the counter feit" [whatever] and on and on. and on .....Melody came on to sing and i turned it off. There is going to be camp meeting i guess through the week end.
I remember a year ago or so when Danny had his whole family on and it was a musical. sining the old favorites and family favorites....Danny introduced the members one by one and when he came to one of his brothers, D said "this is the quiet one, he never speaks up...." After the intoduction, the brother said, "how can anyone speak...your always talking." I think of that everytime he has the mike and that is what was going on. The room was full where the cameras were focused. yes it's on. i checked before i started this thread. we have skyangel and moses said it would come in on either dish or skyangel receivers.

Ultra Conservative. The make up artist has used a putty knife to scrape make up off of the women, even Mollie, Melody & Tammy!. I did not recognize Mollie! I did recognize her voice. She said she had been throwing up, but hadn't thrown up today! Then in the middle of her Sabbath School lesson, she put her hand over her mouth. I closed my eyes not knowing what would happen, but she continued to talk. Was I glad! I hope she is OK by now. There is NOTHING worse than throwing up! It takes everything out of me. She has my sympathy. How long has Mollie worked for 3ABN? She said she became a Seventh-day Adventist only in 1999. Programming has changed. I see some good improvements. Most of the changes have been good. Not enough to make me change my mind and send money though. The message I am receiving, in my thoughts only, is that they are saved by grace and are repentant and forgiven. They had a new (to me) marriage counselors. They talked about marital intimacy. Lusting in your heart is grounds for your spouse to divorce you! Hum... They all were very clear that they are Seventh-day Adventists. There are definite changes over the past month or so. They are still really proud of what "they" have done. Over all I see some positive things going on if they are real and lasting.
