I found this reference to a case in 1998 on the Franklin County Case Website and wondered if anybody knows what it was about? http://tinyurl.com/22sefd
Is it this current property tax case http://tinyurl.com/29aovg that we know about from 2004 or did they appeal something else and then drop it? Did it go back this far? Miscellaneous Remedy (MR): Many interactions with municipal, county, and state agencies initially take place as administrative hearings before that government office or agency. These offices may make rulings on matters, which can be appealed. After all administrative appeals have been exhausted, the appealer can ask for a Judicial Review of Administrative Decisions. The Miscellaneous Remedy division hears these appeals (except for tax cases). Other MR cases include change of name and extradition matters. Interesting. Looks like Danny might have been on the losing end of a small claims court case. Wonder how you find out more info?

Richard Usually you can go to the court house and look up any case. They will give you copies of any documents or just spend time looking up the record there. Some states allow you to see much of the paper work on line at the court house. |

Thanks for the information. It does say it is a tax case.
Looks like Philip J McGilton age 52 has Midwest Equipment, McGilton Ventures and S. I. Performance and Philip K McGilton had Four Star Arena (horse related). Now would Elizabeth Walker work for Banterra Bank? |

If I remember correctly, the courthouse has no records for the small claims case anymore, perhaps because it was dismissed? Regarding the other case, it is, if I recall correctly, an attempt to redeem a property that was sold for taxes. Based on the address given for Danny Shelton, I think it likely that the case concerns a different Danny Shelton, perhaps Danny Lyn Shelton. In other words, if there are only two cases in Williamson County concerning a Danny Shelton, those two have been checked out and the above is what I recall of the results of that checking out. |
