Got to keep you mouth shut for a period of time and can’t sue us. Severance agreements for executives are usually negotiated upon initial employment or and some other time afterward. We can’t say it is fair or not, it is what Linda agreed to. Having spent some time in corporate compensation, I say she got a pretty good deal. It is unheard of for someone to post their severance agreement on a public Internet site. Sounds like Linda are soliciting for a big pity party. |

I don't know if its pity or not, but from the start she has gotten the short end of the stick, been shafted as it were.... so I don't mind if she is... I wish she would have told it all, cause its a hot mess...

Well, she can’t tell all until her agreement expires. Maybe she will then. People get fired for all types of reasons, it happens. When you take the emotion out of it and view as a business transaction (what did I get when fired) $90K lump sum and two yeas severance ain’t a bad deal. At my company the standard is one week for each $10K in salary and one week pay for each year of service, capped at one year pay, that is unless you where able to negotiate something else when hired. .

Right Calvin this is an excellent agreement for an employee, as Kevin says it is the shaft for a co-founder. What is doesn't say is that they required Linda to sign away any rights she had to the profits of 3ABN, a ministry/business she helped to build, in order to get $225,000.00.
Danny is very fortunate it was Linda, I would have told it to Oprah and anybody else who would listen. There is a reason they want her quiet, and it is not because she was cheating, that was his story. I'm confused. Ok, Re' was just basically saying, like father, like daughter. But who got rebaptised before getting married, Danny or Melody? BTW, when exactly did Brandy join the church/get baptised?

Hello, I wanted to post some events that took place during the weekend with Linda Shelton. This is a copy from Club Adventist from Friend:
The weekend was wonderful. On Friday night, Linda pretty well opened herself up, to the extent she could, and tried to get discussion on the last two years done and out of the way. There were several ladies there who are staying in a shelter for abused women, and they said that they were very blessed and encouraged by Linda's story. The Sabbath sermon will have to speak for itself. It was taped and will become available. I'll let you know more as soon as I know. We both got the flu on Friday, but during the events we felt fine. While there, Linda taped two pilots for a new television series. More on that later. [size=5][color=#3333FF] I am excited and will be one of the first to get those tapes! Also, I am happy to hear that she is going to do a television series! The Lord is blessing and vindicating!!! Praise God!!!
