Hay, could it be that Mollie is playing fast-and-loose with the facts? Could it be, yes it is true that 3ABN does not own a plane, but are leasing a plane?! I could be all wet with this, but.... Can any one of you or whomever confirm that 3ABN really does not have a plane???

Just for clarification; the current plane they have had till now, they did not own, but leased. Guess there is no need to go over what that was each month in costs.

I believe that DS will not have that perk any longer come the end of June.

Walt Thompson emailed me several days ago stating that though it would be missed they were canceling the lease. This has been discussed on the "Looks like DS aready has his...." thread.

I heard today that this is indeed fact.

I was about to say, because the information that htye leased the plane, plus the approx. costs, is old news and posted somewhere in these threads. Now, the fact that they are letting go of the lease is news. SDAguy, read, read, read, and then post...............

if there is no longer any leasing of the plane, sounds like their donations are falling! I am sadden for ds, looks like he has to use a commercial airport getting their two hours early for each flight just like the rest of us, I just don't know how he will carry this extra burden, among all of his responsibilities, poor dannyboy,

If my memory serves me, I don't remember exactly when but at one time BSDA discussed the thought that there were two airplanes at Danny's disposal. One was the first one purchased and had been used for a while. The second was the leased one for $40,000.00/month.

I could be way off the mark but I thought someone made a comment that they saw the plane up for sale online somewhere. But no one followed up since then. That is why we assumed Danny still owned the first plane.

The conversation pertaining to this subject most likely might be found soon if it hasen't alreay. If so, sorry for the duplicate remark. If I posted wrong I will gladly apologyze. JMO.

My guess is that DS will still get his perks and this is nothing more than a PR stunt. They can still rent a jet on a hourly basis when needed wanted by Danny. Anyone can, for what? 3-4 grand or so an hour? I've not checked lately. They can say they've canceled the lease but still quietly have the use of a jet. Maybe this time they won't brag about it to anyone to keep the heat off, at least until the heat cools a bit.

Richard, I believe you made a great reality point here, and most likely that ds exactly will do, while denying owning one or leasing one, giving the idea he is going commercial to please his easy to fleece donors, but really doing what you pointed out.

If they chose to play the "looks like" game - give the APPEARANCE that things have changed, to appease the donors (and gain back donors that are very unhappy), but some how it's all just a PR ploy, I think they ought to know that people are going to find out, one way or another.

No more secrets. Eyes and ears everywhere. And even more importantly, God's eyes.

The thing is, people will be watching it all, from now on.

No, it was not a Lear. 3ABN purchased a Mitsubishi Diamond Jet and used it for several years. For much of that time they also leased a Cessna Citation jet which was also used. After a time of having both jets, they sold the Diamond. The pilots told me that I was the last person to use the Diamond for 3ABN. The Cessna had a larger cabin, a bigger restroom, a longer range, and a better galley. I have used both jets, and found the Cessna to be much more comfortable than the Diamond. I am sure that gong back to commercial flights will be a devastating blow to those who enjoyed the convenience of a private jet for so long. Downgrading always has the effect of creating misery.

"Steffan"(or the pesrson who he has virtually admitted to being) inffers that Linda was the biggest proponent of gettin the Cessna. It would NEVER have happened without Danny's desire and approval. He also indicates that the Diamond was sold and then (after the sale) the Cessna was leased by someone else. This would not be true. I personally used both of them for a long time. They were used simultaneously by Danny and 3ABN for a long period of time.

I must admit that there are certain perks that a former executive at 3ABN cannot help but miss, especially in the context of being in a ministry where the top executives pay out to the ministries creditors, yet they recieve no salaries, land transfers, or any other form of compensation.

Thank you for sharing. Then it would appear that Steppan is being disingenuous, and yet he has been calling me and others, “liars” when it comes revealing ds's evils but all along appears it is he being one, which is sad. I joked about calling him, a "Clinton spinner"--but lying is not a joke, it's sin. Got to be careful about humor.

Beartrap, you are for sure in the know! Yes, very true the 3ABN executes will be going through a humongous withdraw, and ds and others just might be tempted to do what Richard talk about, I guess we all are to stay tune.....But, if DB of AF comes in, money will too -- Jet is coming back!
