I did not catch the gramma and sentence structure but so true now that you mention it. The whole bit about....send money....send tithe....wait for a miracle sounds like so many televangelists who have fallen before....Remember who was an Okie.....**** ******* was quoted as saying "God will slay me"..... if I do not raise the money to build this hospital...send money before "He slays me".... and all the words of a faith healer - why did he need a hospital anyway if he was a faith healer?? I  saw it all. |

So, by reading this "unsolicited" letter from a "listener" about "sending your tithes in to 3abn" DS is ASKING FOR TITHE to be sent in...he is actually condoning it outloud??? What must the leaders of our church think of this???? Wait, what was I thinking...if he is non-denominational, that means he is taking tithe from all kinds of other churches (willingly) into his own storehouse? I wonder if these church leaders are aware of this approved practice? Almost anyone who watches the televangelists for a while has seen some variation on this at some point:
Plant a seed against your need, brothers and sisters. Cast your bread upon the waters and it will return to you after many day, all puffed up with interest. Not the kind of interest you will earn from a bond or a cd, but divine interest from the one who owns the cattle on a thousand hills. Do you have a need? The Lord is telling me that someone out there is in pain, that someone is experiencing financial difficulties. The Lord wants to heal you. He wants to open up the windows of heaven and bless you with finances abundantly more than you could ever ask or think. But, he is being held back by you. When Joshua led the children of Israel to the Promised Land, they encountered the river Jordan. It was deep and it was wide. God told them to step into the water and he would do the rest. They had to take that first step of faith in order to release the miracle that God had planned for them. A little lady whose family badly needed an income was watching this very program. She had felt convicted of God to send her small mite to God's ministry, but her family needed that mite in order to eat. She cried out to the Lord that if He would just bless her with something more, she could give. The day came when the moving of the Holy Spirit was too strong to resist. Not sure where to put this but go check out the save3abn for more documentation pertaining to the quickie Guam divorce.
 Just never a good place to be - down that road that takes you to the end of a marriage and commitment. We are living in a disposable society where the thinking is throw it out and get new. Too many going down that road...not a good place to travel. |
