I hear that Palm Springs has canceled their 3ABN Rally.
 Does someone have more details on this? Is there similar news from other places? |

The event is still being listed on the 3ABN website and the SEC Conference websites.

I honestly doubt that they will post anything regarding it being cancelled--after all, they want to save face as much as they possibly can
 They'll probably just delete it...but I could be wrong...

This Palm Springs rally is awhile away yet, September 9. As of this moment, it still shows as valid on 3abn.org. Is there a history of churches cancelling or is this the first one?
I really appreciate this posting thread because it helps me understand the big picture and where the SDA community might be in responding to "preacher" Danny. Are there enough SDA's with real conviction who do not let money talk? msraccoon |

I'd be very interested to hear from those with longer connection with such things than what I have. What I have found is that most SDA's who are not in Danny's "fan club" simply write him off and ignore 3ABN completely. But there are a growing number of those who were once in Danny's "fan club" who are no longer there. And there is also a groing number of those who have here-to-fore merely assumed that the publicity was correct, and that 3ABN did accurately represent the "conservative" branch of our church that are becoming aware that this is not the case. And yes, some of them are taking the "courage of their convictions" and are working at all levels to "do something" about it. Someone somewhere mentioned about "critical mass" ..... and this is a good term for what is happening. We have reached that state where movement has begun to become visible, and there are reliable indications that very soon it will reach the point where that movement will become obvious to all. And BSDA has played an important role in putting information out here where all could see. This is the time for those who still have not told their stories to come forward and do so, for there are VIPs as well as people from all walks of life, who are reading what is said here. |

I don't know if or when it was canceled, but I wouldn't expect it to be taken off the website any sooner than tomorrow.

I telephoned the Palm Springs SDA Chruch, and it has been canceled.
However, their pastor tells me that it has been secheduled for the Desert Hot Springs Chruch, on the same weekend. -------------------- Gregory Matthews posts here under the name "Observer."
