3ABN has recently installed new security measures at the station including locks on the doors that only open with a little magnetic key. Did I mention that they require keys on both sides - meaning that you can't get OUT of the building without a key. Seems like a fire code violation to me!

They have also politely let the employees know that they have placed video/audio equipment throughout the building and it is set to record either by movement or by certain phrases.

I wonder if one of those hot phrases will be "On BSDA..."

Not only is it likely a fire code violation, but it is positively dangerous in case of fire. With a paranoid man in charge, who knows when a fire might conveniently start accidentally?

Is it possible to change the code on the locks electronically, so that employees won't know that their keys are no longer working? I know, I'd want to get out of there posthaste! sad.gif

Verrry interesting!!

Of course, now all you folks here can dream up what to say to that recording equipment. wink.gif

Seriously, though, it begins to sound rather Orwellian. Are thinking folks really going to stay there and put up with this?

It also appears to verify that Danny bugged Linda's house and had detectives following her around. Now Danny's determined to flush out "Sister" and "Husbandoftheyear" and others like them, I'm sure. The only difference is that he's trying to find evidence before firing them. Linda he fired/divorced before finding any evidence!!! blink.gif

Considering that Danny has a habit of projecting his own thoughts/actions on others, what else do these "security measures say about him?

Shades of David Koresh!!!! ohmy.gif

Isn't this like locking the barn after the horse is already gone... too little, too late?

The depositions have already been taken and the wheels are swiftly turning... but Danny already has this information and he is prepared to fight to the bitter end.

It is said that Nero fiddled while Rome burned. Will Danny be playing his guitar as the walls of his empire crumble?

He has already been saying that he isn't going anywhere. What a change from just a couple of weeks ago in which he was taking "some time off." What changed?

If the doors all unlock automatically whenever the fire alarm is triggered, then the fire code wouldn't be violated.

....but if it is "electronically" controlled - and the system shuts down due to fire...and folks die?

Is that a chance people are willing to take?

Then shouldn't the fire dept. be notified?

Does Danny "own" the fire dept. like he seems to "own" everything else in town?

I suggest contacting OSHA Occupational Safety Health Association, that's government.

Y'all quit suggesting and make the call! I'd call if I had the proper information!

Inga, just like you, I thought that definitely sounded like shades of Koresh. Isn't it interesting that Danny's only seeming defense is that the information being disseminated about him is all lies? Very interesting! So if he has nothing to hide why all these seeming security measures and audio and video taping. Why?

To avoid any possible conflagration with the loss of lives, someone should indeed call the relevant government department.
